"Penn state mushroom Research Center, needed to update their outdated spawn machine. Fralo designed 5 custom enclosures and used distributed controls with a PLC and 12’ touch screen operator interface. Adjustable timing controls were added to allow the operator to adjust the parameters for each operation of the machine. A conveyor belt united each independent station. Processing times was reduced from eight hours down to five."
